I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and travel has always been a huge part of my life. At 21, I joined the U.S. military and proudly served for 21 years, retiring as a senior leader. My career took me around the world—literally. I traveled extensively throughout Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, both on duty and on personal adventures. Each destination deepened my appreciation for different cultures, languages, foods, and ways of life.
